Corrections Policy

Accuracy and fairness are prioritized. Verified correction requests are addressed promptly.

How to Request a Correction

Submit either:

  1. A GitHub Issue using the "Correction Request" template, or
  2. An email to the designated contact (listed on the site footer) containing:
    • Page URL
    • Exact excerpt in question
    • Proposed correction
    • Supporting reputable sources (URLs)

Evaluation Criteria

  • Source reliability and recency
  • Evidence corroboration by multiple reputable sources where applicable
  • Relevance: Request must pertain to existing published content

Resolution

If accepted, the page is updated with a "Correction Notice" section at the bottom including:

  • Date of correction
  • Summary of change
  • Reference to issue ID (if applicable)

Denied requests are logged internally with rationale; personal information of requestors is not published.
